Frederic Remington - An Indian Trapper, Brahms - Symphony #3 Poco Allegreto,

Frederic Remington portrayed this meeting with an Indian trapper.  The man looks like he is finishing his conversation with you and just waiting to head up the trail with his comrades.  The background scenery gives a wonderful feeling of distance and the small size of the other horses and riders makes even the middle ground seem fairly distant.  Notice also the detail in the foreground - including the rocks as compared to the horses and rocks in the distance which are handled with much less detail.

I like this peaceful video with the wonderful pictures of scenery.  I hope you enjoy it, too.

Emily Dickinson poems don't seem to have titles but this one is about summer slipping away.

AS imperceptibly as grief
The summer lapsed away,—
Too imperceptible, at last,
To seem like perfidy.

A quietness distilled,        5
As twilight long begun,
Or Nature, spending with herself
Sequestered afternoon.

The dusk drew earlier in,
The morning foreign shone,—        10
A courteous, yet harrowing grace,
As guest who would be gone.

And thus, without a wing,
Or service of a keel,
Our summer made her light escape        15
Into the beautiful.
